How to Remove a Toyota Camry Taillight
The taillight assembly on the Toyota Camry is a single assembly unit. The bulbs are accessible from the trunk, and the taillight assembly is removable for replacement or cleaning. If your taillight is cracked or broken, you should replace it as soon as possible. If water leaks into the taillight assembly, it can short out the bulbs and cause damage to the cars electrical system. You can buy a replacement taillight assembly from an auto parts retailer.
Instructions

Open the Camrys trunk. Pull the plastic cover off the back of the taillight assembly.
2Remove the three nuts securing the taillight assembly with a wrench.
3Slide the taillight assembly forward away from the rear of the car. Grasp each bulb and twist it slightly counterclockwise then pull back to remove it.
4Remove the taillight assembly from the car once the bulbs are disconnected.

How to Remove a Chrysler Town Country Taillight
Removing the taillight from your Chrysler Town and Country van will allow you to replace the assembly if damage has occurred to it or replace the bulbs if one has burned out. The plastic taillight assembly is held onto the rear of the van by several screws that can only be accessed by opening the lift gate on the rear of the van. Once the lift gate is open, the assembly can be removed with a single screwdriver and reinstalled the same way.

Open the lift gate on the rear of your Town and Country van. Locate the two retaining screws along the inboard edge of the taillight assembly, between the housing and the lens.
2Remove the two screws with a Phillips screwdriver and set them aside. Grasp the taillight assembly with your hands and pull it straight back until you can access the bulb sockets on the rear of the assembly.
3Turn the bulb sockets counterclockwise, unlocking them from the taillight assembly. Pull them straight out of the assembly and lay them aside. The taillight is now free of the van.

How to Replace the Taillight Bulb on a 1997 Chevy Silverado
Replacing the taillight bulbs in the taillight assemblies of your Chevy Silverado pickup will only take a few minutes and requires only simple hand tools to complete the job. The bulbs are housed within a plastic taillight assembly and the assembly requires removal from the truck to access the bulb. The 3057 bulbs used in the taillights of the Silverado are readily available from any parts store or most major department stores.

Open the tailgate of your Silverado and locate the two taillight retaining screws on the inside edge of each taillight assembly. These are Phillips-head screws on the inner edge of the end of the cargo-bed wall, where the tailgate rests when closed.
2Remove the two retaining screws with a Phillips screwdriver, setting the screws aside for reuse later. Grasp the taillight assembly and pull it straight out of the body until you can access the wiring harness connection on the back of the assembly.
3Depress the locking tab on the connector and pull it off the taillight assembly. Grasp the socket on the back of the taillight, turn it counterclockwise -turn, and remove it from the assembly. Pull the failed bulb out of the socket and discard it.
4Push a new bulb into the socket. Insert the bulb and socket into the rear of the taillight assembly and turn the assembly clockwise to lock it in place. Connect the wiring harness connector to the taillight assembly, pushing it in until it snaps in place.
5Position the taillight assembly on the rear of the Silverado, making sure it seats completely; then install the two retaining screws. Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver and close the tailgate.

How to Change the Bulb in a Taillight on a 2001 Buick LeSabre
The Buick LeSabre originated in 1951, but was not placed into production until the 1959 model year. The 2001 Buick LeSabre was available in a base model, and an upgraded Limited model. The 2001 LeSabre was equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 engine, capable of producing up to 205-horsepower and 230-foot-pounds of torque. The taillight bulbs in the rear of the LeSabre are enclosed within the taillight housing, which is fastened through the inside of the trunk.

Open the trunk of the LeSabre.
2Remove the three plastic winged nuts from one side of the trunk, on the rear side of the taillight bulb assembly you are working on. You can use a pair of pliers to remove the winged nuts, if they are too tight to be removed by hand. Be careful not to snap the tabs off of the wing nuts with too much pressure. Peel the trunk liner off of the taillight studs and away from the taillight.
3Pull the taillight assembly away from the rear of the LeSabre, and rest the assembly on the rear bumper. Remove the taillight from the housing by turning it counterclockwise in relation to its position on the car.
4Pull the old taillight bulb out of the socket by hand. Insert a new taillight bulb using a paper towel or napkin around your hand. Do not touch the taillight bulb with your fingers directly.
5Reinstall the taillight bulb back into the assembly, and turn it clockwise to lock it in position. Install the taillight assembly back into the rear of the car.
6Push the trunk lining back onto the rear of the trunk, allowing the taillight assembly studs to go through the allotted holes. Install the plastic wing nuts onto the studs and tighten them by hand. No torque is needed to tighten the wing nuts.
7Follow Steps 2 through 6 to change the taillight bulb on the opposite side of the bulb you just replaced.

Taillight Bulb Installation on a Hyundai Santa Fe
As on any vehicle, the taillights on the Hyundai Santa Fe indicate turns and braking during the day, and they provide increased visibility for the vehicle at night. Without the taillights, at night vehicles behind you would only see the vehicle when the brakes are applied or the directional marker lights are turned on. Taillights are often taken for granted, since the driver cannot see them while driving. However, even a fairly new vehicle can blow a taillight out within a year or so, depending on its usage. Fortunately, replacing them is fairly easy.

Turn off the engine and the headlights. Apply the parking brake to the Hyundai Santa Fe.
2Open the lift gate.
3Remove the two retaining screws on the side of the taillight assembly with the Phillips screwdriver for 2000 to 2006 models. Use the plastic pry tool to pry off the assembly for 2007 and later models. Wire harness connections are still attached to the back of the taillight assembly, so use caution when removing it.
4Reach behind the taillight assembly and twist the taillight socket counterclockwise a quarter turn. The taillight on the Santa Fe is the light centered in the rear of the assembly. It is a dual-filament bulb that also contains the stop/brake light.
5Hold the socket of the taillight assembly with one hand while pushing slightly downward on the bulb with the other hand. Twist the bulb counterclockwise a quarter turn to remove it from the socket.
6Align the two small notches of the replacement 1157 taillight with the internal grooves of the socket. Push the bulb down into the socket, with tabs and grooves aligned, and twist the bulb clockwise a quarter turn to lock it into the socket.
7Test both the taillight and the brake light before replacing the taillight assembly by reversing the respective removal procedure.
