Specifications for a 1990 Honda Rebel 250
The Rebel 250, also known either as the CMX250 or the CMX250C, is a cruiser-style motorcycle manufactured by Honda. Introduced in 1985, it was retired by 1987 and re-introduced in 1996. As of November 2010, it is still in production as an entry-level motorcycle.
Engine Specifications
The Honda Rebel 250 includes a 234cc, SOHC parallel twin-cylinder engine with a 53-millimeter bore and stroke. It is also built with a single 26-millimeter diaphragm-type constant-velocity (CV) carburetor, an automatic cam-chain tensioner and maintenance-free CD ignition with five-speed transmission.
Handling Specifications
The front suspension of the Honda Rebel 250 includes a 33-millimeter hydraulic fork that combines with the five-way dual shocks of the rear suspension to provide optimum steering and control. It also consists of a single-disc front brake with a twin-piston caliper and a drum rear brake.
Dimensions
The 331-pound Honda Rebel 250 includes a 30-degree rake that measures at 40 inches and a trail of 4.4 inches. With a seat height of 26.6 inches and a wheelbase of 57.1 inches, it also includes a 2.6-gallon fuel tank with a 0.7-gallon reserve.
