Saab Repair Information

The automobile manufacturer Saab is a Swedish company formerly owned by General Motors. Saab repairs and maintenance can be performed by qualified technicians at Saab dealerships.

Repair

Saab vehicles sold in 2010 were subject to a 4 year or 50,000 miles bumper-to-bumper limited warranty on mechanical or workmanship repairs performed at an authorized Saab dealership. The bumper-to-bumper warranty does not cover repairs for damage caused by poor maintenance, misuse or accidents.

Assistance

Saab also offers its new car owners a 4 year or 50,000 miles roadside assistance program and a 3-year or 36,000-mile no charge scheduled maintenance program. Included in the maintenance program is tire rotation and oil changes at no charge.

Expense

The cost of repairs to Saab vehicles is average compared to similar vehicles after the warranty has expired. The cost of parts can be expensive because of the large amount of components in the vehicles engine.
